Lovehoney Beaded Sensual Glass Dildo

Hello hello! Today I’ve got another sex toy review for you, and this one’s kind of exciting for me because it is my first ever glass toy. The great and powerful sex toy behemoth Lovehoney kindly sent me their Beaded Sensual Glass Dildo in exchange for an honest review.

The Lovehoney Beaded Sensual Glass Dildo has a very long and unwieldy name, so I’m probably just going to call it “this thing” for the rest of the video. It’s got this really interesting bulbed shape with a tapered tip for easier insertion. The insertable length is 7.2 inches, and it’s got a diameter of 1.4 inches (not counting the handle), so I consider it to be a medium sized dildo. It’s also got the little Lovehoney heart logo etched here on the handle, which I think it a cute touch.

Now I’ve been really interested in glass toys for a long time. They come in so many weird shapes and textures that you don’t often see in other materials, and glass is a particularly awesome material because it’s non-porous, smooth, seamless, and compatible with any type of lubricant.

A lot of people have this really horrible fear of a glass toy shattering inside of them, but I promise that’s not a thing, no matter how strong your Kegel game is. Most glass toys, including this one, are made from solid borosilicate glass, the same stuff as Pyrex cookware.

It’s exceptionally damage-resistant, and if you do manage to break it by dropping it on concrete or something, it’s going to break into large pieces rather than shattering everywhere like a wine glass.

So you’re pretty safe, but you should still check glass toys for chips or other damage before each use, because chipped glass can hurt you.

Now I had two major worries when I first went to use this toy. The first was that these bulbs would pop, pop, pop past my pubic bone in a way that was uncomfortable or annoying like the ridge on the Tantus Cush did. My second worry was that the tapered tip would be just pointy enough to to poke my cervix.

But I am happy to report that this thing actually works ridiculously well for me. Instead of popping in and out of me, the bulbs just sort of… undulate? I don’t know how else to describe it. It’s like a soft ripple across the front wall of my vagina, but it’s super stimulating, and I’m all about it.

I haven’t had any cervix poking issues, and the curved shape of the toy coupled with the bulbed head makes it awesome at stimulating my G-spot.

Being solid glass, the toy’s got a nice weight to it. It feels substantial, and I really like that, but it can be annoying in that the smoothness of the material coupled with the weight of the handle means that if you take your hand off it for any amount of time the toy is going to immediately swivel around so that it’s facing downward.

Especially with textured toys, I often like to just leave them in place and clench around them. Clitoral stimulation is often a two-handed deal for me, one hand holding a vibrator and the other exposing my kind of buried clitoris to it, so toys that I can’t let go of when I need to can sometimes be frustrating.

So I often just use this as a warm-up by itself and them move on to a different dildo and clitoral vibrator. But if you’re someone who consistently holds onto and thrusts with your dildos, I could actually see this being a good finisher, because the texture plus the G-spot stimulation is so fantastic.

Overall, I think the Lovehoney Beaded Sensual Glass Dildo is a really great toy. If you want to grab one for yourself, Lovehoney is an awesome retailer. They’re based in the UK but also have a US, Australian, and a couple other European webshops, and they ship worldwide. I’ll link this toy down in the description.

Thanks for watching, and I’ll see you next time!
