It’s now the 6th edition of my best budget sex toys list, but this year we’re switching things up! In the past, the maximum price cut-off was always $30, but that always led to a bit of frustration on my end, as there are so many great toys just over the $30 threshold that I’d want to include. So for this list I’m upping the budget to $35. Several of the included toys are still under $30, but the extra wiggle room has allowed me to include some extra cool stuff (like silicone masturbation sleeves and gorgeous crystal butt plugs from one of my fave small businesses).
1. Inclusion Rainbow Strap-On Harness – $29 at SheVibe
I don’t think there’s much I need to say about the Inclusion Harness. It’s handmade by a trans teacher in rural Ontario, who uses the proceeds to provide education to school boards around the province on how to best support trans and gender non-conforming students. It’s highly size adjustable, with Size B fitting hips up to 65 inches. And it’s fucking RAINBOW. Get into it. They even make a matching thigh harness!
2. Crystal Delights Sparkle Butt Plug – $34.95 at SheVibe
For those in the know Crystal Delights have been the go-to name for high-quality glass plugs for years, whether they’re topped off with an animal tail or a sparkling crystal. So I was extremely excited when they announced their Sparkle Plugs, a budget-friendly line of hollow glass plugs filled with hundreds of tiny crystals. They look and feel every bit as luxurious as their standard solid, Swarovski base plugs, for less than half the price. Hell, they’re arguable even more beautiful — check out this video to see just how much they sparkle in the light!
3. Romp Hype G-Spot Vibrator – $34.99 at SheVibe
If you follow my work closely you’ll know that “G-spot vibrators” are my absolute favorite style of toy because they’re arguably the most versatile. You can use them as a clit vibe. You can use them as a G-spot vibe. You can even use them with the vibrations turned off as a dildo. And while finding one with a good motor at this price-point is a challenge, Romp has come through with a solid option with their Hype. It’s reasonably strong, not too buzzy, and the tip even has a little bit of squish to it. (One thing to note, however, is that the buttons on the toy require a LOT of pressure, so if you have limited hand strength you may want to pass on this one.)
4. Evolved Luminous Glow in the Dark Dildos – $24.99-$31.99 at Peepshow Toys
Glow-in-the-dark toys are becoming a bit of a trend in the mainstream sex toy industry after years of popularity among indie toymakers, and I am 100% in favor. I actually went back and forth over which line to include on this list between Evolved Luminous and the similarly-priced Blush Neo Elite GLOW dildos, and I really don’t think you can go wrong with either. The Evolved won out for being slightly squishier (and because I included the original Blush Neo Elite line, which has the same shapes as the GLOW, in a previous edition of this list), but the Blush ones come in more colors, so it’s honestly a toss up. Follow your heart!
5. NS Novelties Firefly Moon Stroker – $34.99 at Peepshow Toys
Another recent glow-in-the-dark release, NS Novelties are finally giving us something reviewers have been begging for for years: squishy, affordable silicone masturbation sleeves! The Firefly Moon stroker is the line’s non-representational option, with an easy-to-grip shape and an opening on each end that make it easy to clean. For a few dollars more they also offer anal, vaginal, and mouth-shaped options.
6. Stockroom Locking/Buckling Leather Wrist Cuffs – $29.50 at Stockroom
If you want a simple set of cuffs that are high-quality enough for heavy use, these are bestsellers at Stockroom for a reason. They come in both leather and synthetic versions and can be used with or without locks. (Grab a snap hook or two to connect them together or to other anchor points.) And the high level of adjustability also means that, in addition to fitting any wrist, they can also fit many ankles.
7. CalExotics Silicone Anal Exerciser Kit – $26.99 at SheVibe
I rarely recommend butt plug training kits for a variety of reasons, but the CalExotics Silicone Anal Exerciser Kit is a great exception. The plug shape here is fantastic, with a tip that’s tapered enough for easy entry without being overly pointy and a T-bar base that fits nicely between the cheeks instead of pressing out into them (which can be uncomfortable for long wear). The smallest plug is an excellent starter size for most beginners, and the jumps between sizes are neither unnecessarily small nor unreasonably large, which has always been my biggest complaint with other kits.
8. Blush The Realm Silver Bullet – $32.99 at SheVibe
I was skeptical when the first iteration of this toy came out and reviewers were claiming it had wand-level power in a bullet body, but once I got my hands on one I had to agree: that thing was strong. To this day it is the strongest toy of its size I’ve ever felt. And The Realm Silver Bullet version improves on the original by adding some much-needed depth and rumble while maintaining the impressive strength. If you’re looking for is sheer power in a small package at an inexpensive price-point, look no further because Blush has you covered.
9. Iroha Zen – $34.99 at SheVibe
On the other end of the vibrator spectrum, the Iroha Zen is gentle in every way. From its soft, marshmallow-y silicone to its mellow, low-frequency vibrations, this is a great toy for someone on the more sensitive side. If you find that the vibrators that aren’t too strong for you tend to be too buzzy/surface-level/numbing to be enjoyable, the Zen might be right in the sweet spot — gentle in power without sacrificing vibration quality.
10. Tantus Magma – $34.99 at SheVibe
The Magma is a pretty unique dildo. Not only is it covered in drips, a texture I had never seen prior to Tantus, it also uses a combination of glossy and matte finishes for an interesting effect. In a firmer silicone I would worry about the drips being too much for many people, but this toy has just enough give that I’d recommend it — or its smaller version, the Mini Magma –to pretty much anyone looking to experiment with some unconventional texture. (I also feel obligated to point out that the red version of this dildo is more of a dried-blood-burgundy in person, which sparks a perverse joy in my little goth heart.)
There we have it! Ten more high-quality, body-safe sex toys at a budget-friendly price. If you want to see more, check out the previous editions of this list. And as always, if you have any other inexpensive faves, please let me know in the comments below or on my social media!
